How we rank eSIM plans

Every recommendation on esims.ae comes from the same scoring rules, applied identically to Airalo, aloSIM, eSIMPal and Nomad. Commission rates are not an input.

The scoring model

Each plan is scored against comparable plans for the same destination:

Price and value (35%) — Effective price per GB relative to peers, in AED.
Coverage quality (25%) — Networks supported and whether 5G is available.
Validity fit (15%) — How well the validity window matches typical trip lengths.
Flexibility (10%) — Top-ups, hotspot sharing and regional reuse.
Confirmed features (5%) — Only features we can verify on the provider's own page.

What we never do

We do not accept payment for placement, we do not reorder results by commission rate, and we do not publish a price we have not checked against the provider. Where a plan is still being verified, the destination page says so instead of guessing.

Prices and currency

Providers price in US dollars. We convert to AED at a fixed reference rate so you can compare like for like, and show the original USD price alongside it. Your card issuer's rate and any foreign transaction fee may differ slightly.
